Key Responsibilities
- Preach and teach biblically sound sermons that inspire and encourage spiritual growth within the congregation.
- Provide pastoral care through counseling, visitations, and support during times of need to nurture the wellbeing of members.
- Lead worship services and coordinate liturgical events in accordance with Baptist traditions and the National Baptist Convention’s standards.

Qualifications & Skills

- Ministerial experience: At least 3 years’ experience serving in a pastoral capacity within a Baptist or comparable denominational setting.
- Strong knowledge of Baptist doctrine: Demonstrable understanding and practical application of Baptist beliefs and practices.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to preach, teach, and counsel effectively, engaging diverse audiences with clarity and warmth.
- Leadership and mentorship: Proven capability to lead congregations and develop lay leadership teams with empathy and strategic insight.
- Empathy and pastoral sensitivity: A heart for caring ministry that supports individuals and families through life’s challenges.
- UK-specific credentials: Familiarity or certification aligned with UK church governance and safeguarding requirements is preferred.
